SERVICES OFFERED – New dog or rescue dog owners – Do you have a new addition to your home, a new puppy or rescue dog and want to give them the best start? Do you have a problem dog? Has dog training become a challenge, is your dog a star in class but a nightmare outside? Do you find yourself making excuses for his behavior? Have your friends/family stopped visiting because of "that dog"? Does "walking the dog" consist of taking him out only when there's no chance of him meeting anyone else? Does any of this sound familiar? ·Pulls on the lead ·Jumps up ·Is aggressive ·Is nervous ·A fussy eater ·Destroys your Home ·Refuses to return when called ·Or displays other undesirable traits We offer a pet dog obedience course aimed at new dog owners and rescue dog owners. This is a 3 week course; each session lasts for ¾ hour and has a maximum of 8 dogs per class. The course consists of Week 1 – attending without your dog but with members of your family to listen to a talk on dog training methods, faults, behavioral problems, correct equipment and its use, body language, tone of voice and many more valuable topics to ensure you get a good start in the training of your new dog. Weeks 2 and 3 with your dog. Held indoors at our Newsome venue and at times outdoors nearby. The class instructors will be Steve, Ruth and Clair.
