History

Started in 2003 as a pet dog training business aimed at teaching general members of the public how to train a well-behaved pet dog.

We have developed in to the areas "Professional " dog training class with groups aimed at puppies, young adults and a little more advanced.

The services we offer are split in to two areas

Class / group based and Private one to one sessions.

The class-based lessons are in small manageable groups of no more than eight dogs. The classes are primarily held indoors in the secure facility we have at Newsome in Huddersfield. This is a small sports hall type building with a refreshments area and toilet facilities. Parking is nearby and is free.

The classes are currently held on Saturday afternoons and Thursday evenings.

We always ensure the ratio of Instructors to pupils are high to ensure quality teaching and on a regular basis three instructors to eight pupils can be seen throughout the training sessions.

We have developed a specific training plan here at Hudds K9 and this is delivered by all the trainers to ensure continuity.

Private one to one sessions are delivered by all three instructors on a request basis and are primarily aimed at "Problem dogs".

We will never allow a dog that is either dog aggressive or human aggressive in to a class session. This is to ensure the health and safety of others, and to give your dog a better chance of success.

We know how stressful it can be with a problem dog so we try to do all our individual sessions in a neutral venue where both you and your dog will be more relaxed.

We have a very high success rate with "problem dogs" and have many years of "hands on" experience of dog behavioral issues.

Unlike others our experience has not been learned from a book, tv"dog borstal" or distance learning packages.

We are the Professional dog trainers in the Huddersfield area so give us a call today to book your first session.......
